Bubbles N Troubles De-Wormer 100ml is an anthelmintic treatment developed for mature and immature gastrointestinal worms affecting ornamental freshwater and marine fish.

How to Use De-Wormer

1. Feed the fish normally before treatment.
2. Remove activated carbon and switch off UV equipment.
3. Perform approximately a 75% water change using properly conditioned replacement water.
4. Shake the bottle well.
5. Add 1ml per 16L of actual aquarium water volume.
6. Keep aquarium lights off and increase aeration during the 24-hour treatment period.
7. After 24 hours, vacuum the substrate to remove expelled or paralysed worms and organic debris.
8. Repeat the treatment after 5–7 days.

Why Repeat After 5–7 Days?

A repeat treatment is recommended because internal parasite populations may contain different developmental stages. The second treatment helps target parasites that remain after the initial cycle.

Camallanus, Capillaria & Nematode Use

De-Wormer is particularly relevant when a worm infestation is suspected or confirmed. Camallanus can sometimes be recognized by reddish worms protruding from the vent, while Capillaria and other nematodes may cause chronic weight loss and poor body condition.

Remove Carbon and Switch Off UV

Activated carbon may adsorb treatment compounds, while UV can interfere with some medications. Follow the manufacturer protocol and keep both out of operation during the active treatment period.
