Oase is sure to ‘clean up’ with this set!
Recognised as the market leader in the aquatics market the Biopress offers many of the features found in the company’s more expensive products but a much lower price tage.
This is a very sensible choice for newcomers to the pond hobby as you will be receiving and running a filter system that is very easy to maintain.
Despite this set’s low price it packs a wealth of features and is a great value for money for goldfish ponds up to 3,000 litres (660 gallons).
Perhaps its biggest selling point is the Oase-patented easy-clean system. Simply pump the blue handle on the lid up and down and the filter sponges are compressed/agaitated releasing the dirt. This patented system was only available on more expensive Oase filters until now.
This means you can clean this pressure filter without opening the lid!.
The filter also boasts a powerful 9w UVC to prevent green water and filter media to trap dirt and ensure biological filtration takes place.
The set is sold complete with the Oase solids handling filter pump FP2500. This pump offers low running costs of just 40w yet can handle solids up to 4mm size with ease.
