Mini Sponge Filter
For your small Fighter bowl or tank, you want to have some filtration to keep your bowl or mini-tank clean. The mini Aquarium Bowl sponge is designed to filter small aquariums often used with shrimp or fighting fish. These MINI Sponge filter will stick to your aquarium wall keep the appearance neat and tidy.
The size of this sponge filter is nice and small so that it does not take over your small fish tank or bowl. The fine mesh has been designed by aquarium keepers to give even greater clarity in your aquarium and will operate as both a mechanical and biological filter. MECHANICAL AND BIOLOGICALFILTRATION
The sponge part will filter the water and at the same time create an environment that promotes “good bacteria” to grow in the sponge, providing you both mechanical and biological filtration. This filter requires an air pump which is NOT included. The air through the sponge helps with aeration of the water and at the same time creating a suction that makes your tank water pass through the sponge and capturing debris in your water.
